About

“Just when the caterpillar thought the world was over, it became a butterfly.” ― Chuang Tzu

Leaf Boat Wellness is a space to help steady yourself, better understand your patterns, and move forward with greater clarity and care. You may be doing your best to hold everything together, managing stress alone, carrying emotional weight, and trying to stay in control. Perhaps you’ve tried journaling and self-help resources, yet something still feels stuck. This may show up as procrastination, overthinking, emotional shutdown, unhealthy coping habits, or repeating unhelpful relationship patterns.

Meet Aimee Pugao

RP (Qualifying)

My path led me to explore healing, personal growth, and the deeper workings of the mind. I value understanding each person’s story, perspective, and the experiences that have shaped them.

In therapy, I use an integrative, trauma-informed approach that combines top-down methods (insight, reflection, and cognitive strategies) with bottom-up approaches (body-based and nervous system regulation). This means we explore not only patterns in thought and behaviour, but also how stress and trauma are held in the body.

I work with adults to build self-awareness, heal from what has held them back, and create meaningful change. Therapy is not about becoming someone else, it is about reconnecting with who you are and moving forward with greater clarity, resilience, and emotional freedom.

If this resonates with you, I would be honoured to support you. Reach out when you’re ready.
